Another raga-fuelled extravaganza from the age of ersatz psychedelia! Very basically followed scheme of Indian classical music by laying out the scale at first and then exploring it. This is a live track and, though well recorded, can cause strain. If you download this album I authorise you to delete it if you show symptoms of strain.
An attempt at co-writing between Greg and me. Greg takes a bass solo.
Recorded live by Ian Wadley (who was mixing) at the Griffith University refectory 1983. Supporting the Dropbears.
The only track with all members playing on it.
lyrics
BE BRAVE
In a happy place we walk away we walk away
In a tear stained face we look away we look away
So blue
Waves of faces of words
No sound
Words surround
In a happy world there are no words, there are no words
In a wordless world
Behind a wall behind a wall
No sound at all
Waves of faces of faces
Be brave
Perpetually
Be brave...
etc ...

Burbling beneath the hazy beauty of the debut solo record from Lush co-founder Emma Anderson is razor-sharp wit and a heart full of rage. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 5, 2023
The debut solo LP from Ride's Andy Bell is charming, fuzzed-out psych-pop with the shoegaze pioneer's signature sense of dynamic layering. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 18, 2020
