The people who moved in next door were a long way from home, moving into the inner city and expecting the kind of retiree-values as their native habitat of Sadder Plenty. I imagined them printing out a circular with these sentiments.
Done again as a trio in the great bakeoff of '88 but that one like most of those has a strained vocal and an even more strained attempt by me to be a lead guitarist. I think I was trying to do a Vinny Rielly. Didn't work. This one is closer to the idea I had when I wrote it.
