About the idea that everyone's enslaved to a society that sells them the idea of freedom and individuality. I was 20. I thought I was being profound. I don't remember if this or the band name came first.
This version sounds drunk due to the timing being led by me on guitar and vocals. But the feel was the best we achieved for this song no matter how many times we rerecorded it.
Recorded at Greg's parents' place in Carina 1982.
