I planned a shorter release of old songs I hadn't released the way I'd imagined and some new ones. That really is the joke of this title. I imagined a kind of time travel situation where I was able to chat with my younger self. It was a little like those letters people publish to themselves as children with all the sage advice and encouragement. I pursued this after a lot of thought about the death of Chris Bailey who had been such an inspiration to me in my teens to look further than the mono culture town I grew up in. So, it's me forgiving myself in front of a younger self who's cringing a little. And in the end, as it must happen to all, I have to take a nap.
